Daniel Choi is really adorable and I’m currently watching his cute side in Baby Faced Beauty. He surely is a good actor as he has appeared in variety of roles in shows like School 2013 and The World That They Live In as well as in movies like Dating Agency Cyrano. He sinks into the character and gives just the right vibes. Next we can see him in a drama special called Anticipate Love (or Expect Dating with another moniker going around at some places and it’s Hope For Love) which will air on KBS with two episodes. The female lead will be pop star BoA, who doesn’t ring a bell for me as I’m not into Kpop except being cognizant about the idols who are also actors like Yoochun, Yonghwa, IU, Suzy, etc.
Anticipate Love is a romantic drama about love and relationships of young men and women and stars Daniel Choi as a dating guru. WHAT!! Is this a role reversal for him from his character in the movie Dating Agency Cyrano where he had to take coaching about dating. That’s interesting and hilarious. BoA plays a girl who obviously fails in her love life, meeting all jerks in the past. And as it happens, she takes advice from the love coach. This story is nothing new but always sounds cute and wrapped in only 2 episodes, it’s a pretty nice way to spend if we are in a mood of a light rom-com. The drama also stars Im Si Wan (Standby) and Kim Ji Won (Prosecutor Princess).
Anticipate Love is directed by the PD who did another drama special Don’t Worry, I’m A Ghost which starred Park Shin Hye. Check out the teaser, script reading pictures and stills from the drama. I have decided to watch this show as the promotional materials point towards a colorful, funny and breezy ride. And I like Daniel Choi a LOT!! He looks so sweet in glasses.
Anticipate Love airs after Sword And Flower wraps, in the week before the premiere of melodrama Secret.
